Hi kittens! How was your Christmas?
I had a very lovely Christmas with my family. My girls got me a stereo which is so appreciated since my cd player wore out over a year ago. Now I don't have to use my dvd player and tv to listen to my music. :P
I got a 2 disc cd of New Age music with many artists on it. (David Arkenstone, Andreas Vollenweider, Kitaro, to name a few) and some raspberry vanilla soaps and lotions.
The best part of Christmas day was being with my children and their families, we had so much fun and there was plenty of food, love and laughter. *contented sigh*

Dec. 17, 2006 - movies!
Season's greetings kittens! I got my last xmas present I ordered through mail order Friday, so now my tree has presents under it and looks so ...well, Christmasy. lol I also got 4 new dvds; Dune (which has the theatrical & extended editons on it, yay!), the Back To The Future trilogy, The Mummy Trilogy, and my own copy of Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children so I can stop borrowing Jeremy's all the time. WoOt!
Jeremy is still working hard and things are going well for us. It's only snowed twice, and so far the weather is very mild which is fine because I hate the cold. I don't mind being chilly, but freezing does not make me happy.
Have a good week kittens and stay safe. I got your cards Liz and Tasha, thanks! xoxo

Dec. 11, 2006 - this n that
Hi kittens, I've been so busy I haven't blogged for almost a week!
Dec. 7th was a somber day for me, to me the attack on Pearl Harbor was just like 9/11. Both events changed U.S. and world history and so many people died. *sigh*
Jeremy's rat Rexx died Tuesday, that was awful, Jeremy was very upset. He has two more, but Rexx was the oldest and special to us. Oh well.
I spent the day and night at my daughter Christy's house yesterday helping her unfreeze her water pipes (that was fun - not.) Since she works at Movie Gallery, she had a bunch of new films to watch and I stayed up all night watching some of them. I brought home about six more to watch, I'm sure Jeremy and I will watch some of them together.
Wednesday is my oldest daughter Bobbie's birthday, she will be 29. Wow. She has grown up to be a beautiful young woman and I'm very proud of her. She's attending college to be an interpeter for the deaf. You have no idea how happy that makes me. :P

Dec. 5, 2006 - Christmas time
My apt and my main websites are all decorated for Christmas - enjoy. heart-stricken.net, Paulina's Playground and Faery Unicorn's Fae Site.
Decorating my tree was so relaxing this year. (It's all about the tinsel.) I was so sad last year because Jeremy was gone but now he's home and will be here for Christmas. We will go to my youngest daughter's house to spend the day and enjoy her superb cooking. For my family here in Ohio, Christmas is such a family time of joy, peace and tranquility. We aren't one of those squabbling families, we truly love each other and doing things together. I feel so at peace.
Christmas cards have been mailed; you've still got time to email me your snail addy if you'd like to exchange xmas cards with me. Have a good week kittens! xoxo

Dec. 2, 2006 - windy weather
Yesterday was a good day. I ran errands with my daughter and paid the bills. We went into Movie Gallery and a girl who knows my daughter from somewhere asked if I was her older sister Bobbie! Needless to say I had a small secret smile, but I explained, no I am Christy's mom. Christy thought it was great, we laughed about it later. I love my baby girl. (Ok, I know she's 27, but she's my youngest daughter, so you get the picture.)
Jeremy went off to work, he's working a lot and it's good for him. He comes home from work, comes straight into my room to tell me how his day went, then we talk and talk and either watch films together or get online (sometimes together). We both go to bed around 4 or 5 am, and then we both watch films until we fall asleep. Since this is a one bedroom apt, I gave him the living room for his bedroom and it looks really nice. He's very neat for a young man. At least I think he is. (He's 23.) He has his pets: a ball python named Valek that I raised for a year for him while he was gone and whom I love dearly, (yes, I am odd), 3 rats who are very sweet, a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula, and a black Emperor Scorpion. All in seperate tidy clean aquariums. I held the tarantula for the first time 3 nights ago. I'm not scared of it, I think it's quite an interesting creature actually, but it's just such a big spider and I have an immense respect for that. When I first saw it, I immediately thought of terrifying Shelob in The Lord of The Rings and I wouldn't go near it. But I went into a zen mode and held it twice that night because Jeremy wanted me too and he's my youngest son so I'm trying. The tarantula feels soft yet prickly. It is black with reddish hairs. It has very large fangs.

I refuse to deal with the scorpion. >_<

Not much of anything is going on with me, and that's fine for now. :P I'm watching FFVII:AC as I type this and I plan on working on my sites which are a never ending source of joy to me, to edit, to create. *sigh of bliss*
Have a good weekend kittens. Stay safe and be kind to your livers. lol
Don't forget to email me me your snail addy if you'd like to exchange xmas cards. Thanks to those who have sent me their addys, you'll hear from me next month. :P xoxo

Nov. 29, 2006 - months almost over
Hi kittens. Boy, I'm feeling bleh this week, don't know why.
I dug out my xmas decorations and now the apt is all festive. *grin* I got Jeremy's xmas present in the mail yesterday (shhhhhhhhh) and I got a bunch of new dvds today. A History of Violence (only cuz of Viggo), Memoirs of a Geisha, Wallace & Gromit, Gladiator, Face Off, Rent, and Pride and Prejudice. I'm all about mail order. I love having packages show up during the month filled with cool stuff. It also allows me to start my xmas shopping in July and avoid the cash crunch in Dec. Doesn't take much to make me happy...
I'm meeting loads of nice people at hoverspot.com, check it out if you don't like myspace or don't have a site and just want to make some friends.
