Gad, I'm such a hermit. I haven't even remembered to turn my AIM on when I'm busy. I haven't been out of the house in days.
But I've been a busy hermit. =) I love making graphics!!! I'm not great at it, but it's so much fun! I have Paint Shop Pro 8, Jasc Animation Shop 3 and Adobe Photo Shop 7. (Daniel did leave me with some good programs.) I don't know where the stars are, I need to read some tutorials now that I've learned the basics on my own. Paulina's Playground is my creativity vent, ideas are just erupting. I woke up formulating a page in my head! lol I got it bad...
Hey, it's all good, Joe Satriani is jamming on "Strange Beautiful Music" and all is well. Have a great work week kittens, if that's possible. For you who stay at home, have fun with your kids. For you fellow hermits...happy hermiting! ^_^

Oy! I've been up for 20 hours and my eyeballs are screamin'! I got a lot done though. Two Smart Girls got a facelift and looks cool, I think. I added 2 more pages to Paulina's Playground and now I'm going to bed. Have a happy!

Hello kittens. I'm reading the tagboard and you guys say post more. I hope I don't regret this, but perhaps I should explain.
I need my blog back! I need to feel I can say what I want about anything! I lost that freedom when mine and my hostee's blogs were attacked. (I'm actually having an anxiety attack. Where's the Ativan?!?) Having months of work destroyed in a single evening was devastating to me. (That's why I made the Playground. To forget about it all for awhile.) But I've kept quiet, haven't said anything, not reacting in writing. I know it's "only the internet", but it's very important to me. This is what I love to do, create, smile, write, and visit you, my readers and pals. I still don't feel I should blog about this yet. Maybe when it's old news and the coast is clear. If you read the archives, you can see the beginning. I will have a manual blog and NO comments for a while. I paid $20 for the tagboard because it was the only one with the features I needed. The good part of that is Aile can come and play with the cows and make me smile.
Oh my, I'm in the mood for a layout change. Stay tuned.

Eeep! 3 days without blogging! The Playground has taken over my life! lol I've been looking for cow icons for the tagboard, but they aren't easy (for me) to find. I found only one today. (I'm trying Aile!) Hope the week is going well for all my cyber pals. My roommate has been gone for 2 weeks, it's getting lonely here. I sure hope he's getting his car fixed. It's not bad walking when the temp is on the 30's, but when it gets lower it's hard to breathe. Plus hauling groceries home when walking sucks. Ah well, it's all good. Love ya kittens, and ya know where I am. Happy Thursday! *mwah*

Hi kittens! Yes, I've neglected you guys again. I can't help it! I get working on the Playground and I can't stop! lol I'm learning a lot about faeries, elves, druids, pixies and other such beings. I think doing the research is half the fun of building a page. I'm quite prolific in that regard...
More icons in the tagboard. I wish I could draw worth beans. I'd make my own icons. Oh well. Can't have everything! For those who had a day off today, I hope it was a good day. Have a good evening and you know where to find me. heh Later.

I'm glad all you ladies like the layout. *chuckle* It's just what I want to look at right now. A little eye candy is good for the hacked soul. *cough* I've been working on my fairy pages at the Playground. I've expanded the section to 10 pages. I enjoyed getting lost in html and building pages about the fae. Then I finally took down the remains of my 4th MT blog at TSGM and made a manual blog for updating that site. I deleted the 5th MT blog there which meant deleting The Booknook page permanently as 5 manual blogs is just too much for me to do. I updated the TSGM main index page because someone sent us a gift and now I'm hungry. Hope everyone is well and safe. Later.

Greetings all. I started manual archiving tonight. It's crude, but it will have to work for now. Eventually I'll save the data to disc, then delete it from my server. I lost all my archives when my MT blog stopped working. Oh well, you'll have that.
Three people I haven't seen for ages stopped by for a few hours. It was good to see S, M and Ethan. I finally gave S her xmas present and she loved it. (It was an afghan made in ripples of red, white and black.) We all caught up on each other's news and such. I don't see them very often, maybe every 6 months or so. They looked good and seemed happy.

What's up kittens? I upped the font size so my friends with eye trouble can read it better. Today was a bright beautiful day. There is lots of ice so you have to be very careful where you walk, but the snow is very white and sparkly. Don't get me wrong, I still hate the stuff! But it's cool to see a field of unbroken snow glistening in the sunlight.
Keith, I'll have comments again someday, but not for a while. I'm tickled you guys like the little cow icons. I found them on a disk and thought they were different. I don't know who made them. (I have floppies in my case that aren't mine. I have no idea where they came from!) I paid $20 for that tag-board as it was the only one with the features I needed. Adding my own smilies is just icing on the cake. =) *cough* Zonkboard, as wonderful as it is, has no flood control. *cough* I found out my zonkboards will expire in May. I might renew only one for use on birthday pages, xmas pages, or temp pages as I make them. We'll see.
Ok, I must go work on the Playground as I'm not doing well in my Mystik Brews site competition anymore (how Geocities is that! lol) and I'd like to climb back up in the polls. heh Have a great *hump day* evening kittens!

As usual, my cyber-pals save the day. Thanks to Melody and OdsGirl for the new gifts. *mwah* Jen has been sending encouraging emails and I thank her too. We've promised to be blogging buddies for Blogathon 2004. I haven't decided which charity I want to blog for, there are so many worthy causes out there it's hard to decide. I picked The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF) last year because I love his movies and I miss him as an actor. His charity hopes to find a cure for the disease by 2010. We can only help and hope.

Hello. Well, my hostee Jen is moving. For some reason, I don't feel like publishing Two Smart Girls anymore. The mag was dormant for 9 months before I started putting out a new issue every month. Somehow I've lost my drive. There are so many things I wish I could say, but not now. Maybe not ever. Good night.

And I'm still here! Everything is rebuilt and improved. In all the confusion, I forgot to mention I joined netflix.com (where you rent movies online) and I love it. It's perfect for someone like me with no car, but with a bank card. For $21.15 a month, I get as many movies as I want, no due day, no late fees and they are delivered to my house. I have 3 now to watch and as soon as I'm done, I mail them back and they send me more. I have 86 movies in my queue now, so I'll have movies to watch for a while. I think it's a great deal, for if the weather is too bad to go out, I can step out to my mailbox and get a movie to watch. Ah well, doesn't take much to make me happy. ^^

I'm sitting here still rebuilding the front page and the blog. Actually, I have a lot more freedom this way. I can decorate the blog as I want without having to dodge between MT's coding. I have no archiving or anything extra, but I have a workable blog, and I can live with that. My house just suddenly filled up with my deaf friends, so I must go. Have a good night kittens.

Well I do understand why people just give up and leave the internet. My tagboard was flooded at the other page too so I figure the hell with it. I just won't have comments and a tagboard. My hostee Jen is thinking of moving because she has no comments either. I understand if she moves, but it will suck. Out of all 5 MT blogs, none have comments anymore. Can someone help? I asked Daniel for help but he said the comments script was probably blocked by the server. I wonder if I give my server the jerk's info they can do something. A server can ban you from every site they have if they want to. they don't like being messed with. They would have the technology to deal with this. I'm going to send it to them and see. I don't understand why I can't just upload another comments template. Of course, I would still have to disable comments, so what's the point? *sigh* Now none of my MT blogs show up. It says they are there, but I can't see them, just a big empty iframe. So I made this to fill up the awful empty iframe untill I can figure this out. I even made a new MT blog, but I can't see that either. So manual blogging, no comments and no zonkboard for ~Mel.

Lessee, where do I start? Basically--without any angry rhetoric--the tagboard was "flooded", *see previous post* so it was removed. (I don't know if zonkboard has a flood filter, I can't access their page to see if it was off.) My blog is now without comments. If you click on the comments link, you get "this page can not be found". I went to MT's page and copied the basic html for the comments template and pasted it into my template box in my MT panel and saved it. It's there in the panel, but not showing up online. I looked in ftp and found the comments file is gone. I think I might have deleted it when I was trying to stem the flooding comments. Regardless, it is gone. I don't know where to get the file to upload it again. So I have no comments or zonkboard. Those that know me have my email. Damn troll. No comments available.
