Jan. 27, 2005--lonely is the night...

This is what happens when I have been single and celibate for over a year and have lost my internet yet AGAIN for 14 days. Boredom and libido kick in and I make layouts like this. heh We all can use a little eye candy now and then...

I have tremendous internet withdrawal and I'm counting the days till the first of Feb. This is the first time I've ever blogged while offline! That is a milestone for me in some weird way. *mumbles* Anyway, I've worked on my LOTR site and it looks as sharp as this one, IMHO. I'm blogging there too! As Sean Connery said in some movie (The Rock?) so memorably, "This is intolerable!" I want my internet back! The tv is still on, my little cable box says the cable is on, but I have no internet. Go figure. Since it probably comes down to money, I will pay the bill in full this time and this foolishness will cease! Gad!

Jan. 15, 2005--happy weekend!

Ho hum, another day here in freezing Ohio. It's 21 outside and too cold for man or beast! My silly cat wants out and I won't let him so he's sulking.

I have to call Jeremy's attorney next week, he wants us to come in (finally!) to discuss Jeremy's case. Since we don't have a car, it will be tricky trying to find a ride, but somehow we'll get there. Jeremy is so nervous, I feel bad for him. He still stays at home with me and never goes out. If Amber's attorney describes him as some punk wild child, I'm going to guffaw. I can't wait to talk to Mr. Dimartino (his attorney). Though I've BEEN waiting since this whole ordeal started back on July 21. 6 months and I'm finally going to be able to give my 2 cents. Gad! This is hanging over our heads like a sword hanging from a bit of string. One false move and we could be sundered from crown to navel! All kidding aside, I just want this to be over with as Jeremy is 21 and wants to get one with his life. He still wants a job but of course he doesn't get hired because of his being deaf. Oy. <chants> I can't be upset with the world and I can't make people care. That's just the way it is. </chant>

Jan. 09, 2005-- start of the week already!

Greetings kittens! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was mellow and nice.
I've been watching the Lord Of The Rings films faithfully and I've made some observations. It seems as if the Elves are like guardian angels or something. They are ethreal, elegant, and show up when all seems lost. When Galadriel helps Frodo up in Return Of The King after his encounter with Shelob, I wonder if she then saw Shelob capture him and thought "Oh no! It's okay, Sam is coming!" or some such. I also noticed in The Two Towers when Gandalf and Aragorn are going into the stable to get Shadowfax to find Eomer and the Rohirram, Gandalf says "They flee to the mountains when they should stand and fight!" Then Gandalf's mouth doesn't move when he's saying "Who will defend them if not their king?" I also noticed some continuity glitches, but you'll have that I guess when you're filming 3 films at once and must meet a deadline. Don't get me wrong, the mistakes somehow make the films more endearing and I love them all. I just hope Peter Jackson does manage to make The Hobbit into a film. Hopefully his magic will work it's wonder's again.

Jan. 07, 2005-- end of the week already!

Oh my, As you can see I wasn't happy with the layout. This one will stick around for a while. At least I think so. :P
I've spruced up all my main sites, they all have a more polished feel and attention to detail now. It's been a blast! I'm even blogging more. *gasp*

Jan. 05, 2005--um

I'm blogging here today as one can blog in only so many places...
Jeremy got a 50 gallon aquarium setup for his snake. It's beautiful! We had to move things around, but we had to do that anyway so the landlord could replace the heater. We're warm at last! Anyway, the tank is the center piece of my living room now and it's near my computer desk so I can glance at it anytime I like. ^-^ It doesn't take much to make me feel content. shhhhhhh

Jan. 04, 2005--sleepless in Ohio

Hello kittens. First I'd like to welcome and thank Tee for coming to my blog and leaving nice comments. =) Visit her blog, I've linked her.

I'm watching ROTK EE (Westu Aragorn hál!) again, always, forever. lol The drinking game is on, I think it's kinda silly, but lots of people think it's funny. I think I'm finally done tweaking my LOTR site, I used this table layout for it as it's a busy page and this format meshed better than cramming everything down the middle of a single table. I know what I mean. ^_^

I'm really tired, I'm going to bed now. Have a good Tuesday halflings!

I am trying a new tagboard by Say Box, let's see how it goes. I moved my paid tagboard over to my LOTR site. Flood protection and all. If I'm not here, I'm there.

Dec. 26, 2004--"You young rascals! A merry hunt you've led us on and now we find you...feasting...and smoking!"

Wo0t! I got a dvd player and the LOTR Return Of The King Extended Edition for Christmas! I've watched it twice so far and the EE is amazing. I love the little details that flesh out the story. The mouth of Sauron made me giggle though. Creepy.
Billy & Dom are so funny in the interviews. I started watching the EE with the cast commentary on this morning but I fell asleep! I'll watch it again in a bit. Viggo looks postively edible in the interviews. I wanted him under my tree as Aragorn for Christmas, but no go. Ah well. Hope everyone had a lovely xmas, I sure did!
