July 31, 2005 - ho hum

Have you ever not blogged because there was so much going on you didn't know where to start? That is my situation right now. I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed by real life so I'm escaping into html. I have 32 sites now. 32. This is not normal. Can you say "obsessive/compulsive"? I've joined 2 forums; I very seldom join forums because I'm not much of a chatter. I tend to be shy and guarded. I really like these two forums though, and I've started visiting this one again. Someone at the HP forum asked me who helped me manage all those sites. I said no one, I build them and maintain them myself. It's almost scary to me how creative I can be. I honestly thought I would stop making sites at 20, but I just keep on. This is ok, right? It's better than thinking of Jeremy in the midst of white supremists in prison, or thinking about watching my friend spiral into addiction and chaos. It's better than bemoaning the fact that life sucks and then you die. I really hope reincarnation is only an option as I do not want to come back to this world in any way, shape or form. Stop the world, I want to get off. But I can't, so I must endure somehow. How sad. To endure life instead of living it. How low can I go...

July 22, 2005 - this and that

Greetings. I had to take the Harry Potter link down as they requested. The new book is out and fans all over the world are delirious with joy.

I've been busy this week. I went swimming 2 days in a row with the Puppy Couple and I think we are going again tomorrow. It's been very hot and humid here in NE Ohio. If I didn't have A/C, I think I would have melted by now. >_<

Jeremy is on my mind a lot. I have a bad feeling like something has happened to him. He wrote me and said he has to join the Aryan Brotherhood or they will beat him up and worse. What do I say to that? I did some research and read a book and found out you have to join a gang in prison to survive. It makes my head reel to think of the horror he must be going through. A kid who's never been in trouble in his life is doing time in a prison with a bunch of white supremists. Good God. I hate Amber for doing this to him. I hate hating her. July 21 of last year was when he was arrested and all this crap started. It's a whole year already and it's only gotten worse. My gentle son, I miss him so.

I'm making websites for people and actually getting paid for it, so that is distracting me from thinking. I'm starting a partnership with Christy, she can make graphics and I can do html, so we are going to build sites for people and split the fee. She just got the Dreamweaver editing program and Adobe PhotoShop 7. I was watching her work last night and it was fascinating. I think we will work well together as I love her to death. She and Mellissa (aka the Puppy Couple) are the only sunshine in my life right now.

Well, have a good weekend kittens, I'm off to watch a Jeff Foxworthy dvd. I hope I laugh my ass off. Peace.

July 14, 2005 -cable is fixed, I'm back

Oh my, I've been busy offline for a change. Two weeks and 2 days later, my cable is working properly and I can edit at will. heh

I went to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire last weekend, it was so cool! It's "a shaded 13th century family fun theme park filled with fine continuous entertainment, juried crafts and artisans, rides and interactive games, and foods fit for a King." I heard world class bagpipers, the hammered dulcimer and a lute and horns--I had so much fun! I went with the Puppy Couple and we spent the day in Geneva, OH. The people who worked there were dressed in 13th century costumes and talked in the style of that day. We met the King and Queen, watched jousting, dancing, acrobats and all the wonderful things that go on at fairs like that. I bought a blue dragon and a small statue of Merlin for my desk. I needed to get away from real life and escape into a fantasy world that was bright, fun and smelled wonderful. I wish we could go back for Pirate Week. Arrrg, ye feckless pack of ingrates! Yo ho, yo ho...and really bad eggs... :P

July 2, 2005 -I'm having a Diego Luna marathon! =)

yummy I just watched the films Frida and Open Range. Diego is only in Frida for maybe 15 minutes as her first lover, but he is smoldering and very cute. In Open Range, a Western, he is the young kid who idolizes cattle owner "Boss" played by Robert Duvall. Kevin Costner is Boss's partner. Kevin is not a bad actor, I just find him kind of dry although I like his movies. Diego's part in this film is small too, his only major roles I've seen so far are Y Tu Mama Tambien and Dirty Dancing-Havana Nights. I really think he would be great in a romantic comedy like Just Married.

I have watched all the Diego films that Netflix has, I have no idea how to get his other films here in BFE Ohio. I'm going to do some research online and see what I can come up with. Right now I'm watching Dirty Dancing-Havana Nights for the second time today, it is my favorite Diego film, hands down. Have you noticed his dimples and the way he moves? Oy! Yo te quiero mucho, mi amor! There is just something about him that fascinates me. And since I have a zillion mgs of space and know html, he gets a fan site where I can worship him. :P

Happy 4th of July my fellow Americans!
