Nov. 29, 2006 - months almost over

Hi kittens. Boy, I'm feeling bleh this week, don't know why.

I dug out my xmas decorations and now the apt is all festive. *grin* I got Jeremy's xmas present in the mail yesterday (shhhhhhhhh) and I got a bunch of new dvds today. A History of Violence (only cuz of Viggo), Memoirs of a Geisha, Wallace & Gromit, Gladiator, Face Off, Rent, and Pride and Prejudice. I'm all about mail order. I love having packages show up during the month filled with cool stuff. It also allows me to start my xmas shopping in July and avoid the cash crunch in Dec. Doesn't take much to make me happy...

I'm meeting loads of nice people at hoverspot.com, check it out if you don't like myspace or don't have a site and just want to make some friends.

Nov. 25, 2006 - hello kittens

I had such a lovely Thanksgiving with my kids. I can't wait for Christmas now. lol I hope you all had a good day whether you celebrate or not.

I made 2 more profiles *rolls eyes* but I was invited to and then it became fun. The pages are listed in the order I like them. A word of caution: if myspace crashes your pc like it does mine, don't go there! The first 2 links are my kind of sites, though I still prefer my own web space.

Speaking of which, my server price at Pixelled Solutions Hosting for my domain heart-stricken.net just jumped to $72 a year, monthly charge $6 a month. It's not bad pricing and the service is excellant (geez, I paid $134 for one year at godaddy.com and they sucked) but I'm on SSI and I don't have a bank account to add money to my PayPal account (long story, my friend does it for me) and I don't know if I want to pay $72 a year for my smallest site when I pay only $26 a year for kieben.com which is huge. (All my sites are on this space.) I will probably end up adding heart-stricken to this server Icicle Drop Web Hosting and just paying 1 bill. Sounds like a plan, I have until Nov.27 to make up my mind. But since I am thrifty, I think I'll be making the switch. Opinions, anyone?

C A L L I N G - a Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Film Fansite

The site is done and I'm proud of it. I love to create online and pay tribute to the things that really matter to me.

I hope you are having a good weekend, wow it's Saturday night already. It took me exactly a week to get that site made to my perfectionist satisfaction. :P I also got the 2 disc soundtrack to the film. *looks giddy* I am one content happy camper.

Jeremy is doing so well! He's working about 5 days a week and loving it. I think he just needed a purpose in his life. He's actually back to the Jeremy I knew before his life took that tragic turn 2 years ago. He took me out to eat Tuesday at the restaurant where he works, I met his boss and the deaf girl I know who works there came out to hug me and say hi. I had so much fun that night, we went to the mall, Game Stop and Wal-Mart and shopped and looked and it was just wonderful being with my precious son. He turned 23 on Nov. 6 (I didn't blog about it because he asked me not to), and I think he's finding his place as a young man. His probation officer is very pleased and told me he is doing and living so much better than the people she usually supervises. Heck yes! I'm so proud of him I could burst. I love him with all my heart and we've gotten close again. That's all I ever wanted - to be close to my kids. Later kittens!

Why does my son love creepy things for pets? I must have the patience of a saint. Here's his newest "pet".


In other news, I finally got a copy of the film Legend, but it's the director's cut, not the original which is really what I wanted. Oh well. I'll get the original later and give my director's cut to my daughter. I bought the film Some Kind of Wonderful, remember those great John Hughes films of the 80s? This one is one of my favorites and it was only $5 at Wal-Mart. =)

Nov. 01, 2006 - busy, busy

I'm putting up new layouts for November on all my main sites. heart-stricken.net and kieben.com are done, they came out very pretty IMHO. I had fun playing with html for a few hours but now my eyeballs feel like they're seared to the monitor. Oy. I need to make a Rivendell layout for my LOTR site, I put up a Lothlorien theme by mistake, oops


so I may not be around for a day or so. When the creativity bug bites I must run with it...
