Oct 31, 2007 - Mike’s Jeep broken into Sunday night -Tori Amos live in Cleveland on Nov.1

I am steamed! Someone broke into Mike's Jeep by slashing his driver side window and they ransacked it and stole his checkbook which he forgot to get out of the car when he moved in. We spent the afternoon at the bank closing his account and opening a new joint account for both of us. Whoever it was broke into my landlady's truck too and ransacked it. I really detest stupid people who do ignorant things. We called the police and they said they were "too busy" to come out. Excuse me?! I live in a tiny little town where nothing ever happens, the cops here are just lazy and don't care. They took a report over the phone but never gave Mike a report number, and after he called his insurance company, they said they won't pay for a new window anyway. Some freaking people suck!

On a much happier note, Tori! Tori! Tori! I am so excited I doubt I'll get any sleep. Emma and I are stoked. I will be blogging about the concert probably on Friday or Saturday. I can't believe I get to see Tori again. It will be like touching heaven. Since I got a free trial of Ipswitch FTP, and I think I'm going to buy it as it's the one I'm used to, I can upload again. =) Stay tuned! lol Have a good end of the week kittens. xoxo

Oct 25, 2007 - 7 days -Tori Amos live in Cleveland on Nov.1

heart-stricken.net is back online. I'm still switching servers. I'm still worrying about my ftp.

I'm listening to some very old tapes I found that are from the 70's and 80's and they still play! Rush, Genesis, Yes, REO Speedwagon just to name a few. My sister bought me the cd of Rush - Moving Pictures. I still have my tape from '81 and it plays, but it will be cool to have it on cd. Thanks Debbie, I © you!

Oct 24, 2007 - 8 days -Tori Amos live in Cleveland on Nov.1

Greetings. I hope everyone is having a good week. Physically I feel like crap, but mentally I am superb. Mike will be moved in by Friday night. Wo0t! He has his final job interview for his new job Monday and then the District Manager will call him here and talk to him for a few minutes and he's hired. =) If only everything could be so simple and easy.

I've been using CuteFTP to upload my sites but my trial version expires in 5 days so I'm not sure what I will do after that. They want $39.95 and then it's an email download. I got burned on one of those types before. I paid $100 3 years ago for a downloaded copy of Paint Shop Pro 8 which I lost when my hard drive fried. I had saved the email for the download thinking I could get it again, but none of the links work and I can't even get PSP 8 anymore. Mike told me not to pay for a program unless I get a disk, so now I must find a Vista compatible ftp program that is on a disk. Oy.

I am furious with Pixelled Solutions which is where I pay for space for heart-stricken.net. They changed owners 2 months ago who never answer my questions or emails, they upped the price without telling me, then said I owed them more money. I sent them a 2 month payment Oct. 1 which they claim they didn't get until today so my heart-stricken.net is suspended, although they did email me back after I fired off a very irate email to them and they said my account is active again. Not so far. I've had it with them. On Nov. 1 I'm switching heart-stricken.net to this server Icicle Drop Web Hosting where I've been happy for the last 2 or 3 years. $44 a year for 2 domains, 500 mgs of space and 9 gigs of bandwidth is affordable and Dani's customer service is reliable, fast and courteous. I should've done this months ago.

Mike and I are going to a Halloween party Saturday night at Emma's, that should be fun. Costumes, good people and good conversation. Yup, I'm there. *grin* Have a good night kittens.

Oct 21, 2007 - 12 days -Tori Amos live in Cleveland on Nov.1

And the countdown has begun. Hello kittens. I've been online for hours tweaking the coding and bgs on this site, so I thought I may as well blog. What are my bleary thoughts at 2:30 am? That I changed my room around because Mike is moving in. I straightened my hair, omg it looks so different, Mike and everyone loves it. Emma bought me a $100 straightener that uses ceramics and infra-red technology. (Can you tell I'm impressed? No metal at all to burn my hair.) It works and my hair is soft and straight! I've been looking in the mirror for 49 years seeing curly hair and now I look and I see straight hair. It messes with my mind. lol

Happy belated birthday to Viggo Mortensen who turned 49 yesterday. He is Aragorn in The Lord Of The Rings films.

Greetings gothlings. Or something. I just thought I'd get in the Halloween (Samhain) spirit so to speak. I had a blue cute bones layout to put up but somehow I'm not in a cute mood. This layout suits my mind and personality better. Enjoy.

Emma and I are going to see Tori Amos in concert in Cleveland on Nov.1!!! I am so stoked! 14 more days! Wo0t!

Oct 13, 2007 - Great news! Wo0t!

Oh my. Mike and I are doing so fantastically he wants to move back to Ohio from PA and has already put in some applications here for a job. He wants to move in with me and my son and then eventually move to our own house instead of this apt. I am so happy! He already passed his first interview for one job, they seem to really want him, so he will moving here soon. Jeremy thinks it's cool and so do I. We all played Virtua Fighter for hours Weds night and Mike kicked our butts soundly. I started practicing, it's been quite a few years since I played any fighting video games, but I'm doing better now. heh He brought his PS2 over so now I can play games again! I have a 10 year old PS1 that is tired, it freezes in the middle of playing, so having a PS2 in my room is the bomb. He also has a Dreamcast and Sega Saturn, so my house will be a gamers paradise as Jeremy has 3 gaming systems and I have 2. lol

Also, Emma and I are going to see Tori Amos in concert in Cleveland on Nov.1!!! I am so stoked! I got new velvet pants and some silk and satin blouses and a new pair of black lovely soft leather boots so I can decide what to wear on that day depending on the weather. This will be the 3rd time I've seen Tori and every time is a spiritual experience for me. She is my goddess and I adore her music. Enormous thanks to my oldest daughter for introducing me to Tori's music back in '94 or so. And Emma is just as big a Toriphile as I am so it's awesome. 20 more days! Wo0t!

I wish all of you could experience the peace, love and contentment I have been feeling since May. All my old friends are back in my life and so is my Beloved Mike. I'm very close to my youngest daughter and son and I'm still very blessed. Mike is my soulmate, my other half, my man. I feel surrounded by a light of love and peace and that is awesome after the last few years of craziness. I'm sending out love and light to all my friends for you are precious to me and I love you dearly. Take care everyone!

Oct 9, 2007 - ho hum

Greetings kittens. Not much to blog about really. I babysat 5 dogs for the Puppy Couple last weekend so I was wore out. 2 were pups who aren't completely potty trained. 5 dogs is just too much for me. >_<

I've learned to rip and burn music! I'm finally catching up with technology. I'm making personal cds of music the way I used to make custom tapes by taping off of the radio, records, and other tapes back in the day. :P I have a DVD-ROM but I'm only using it to access extra stuff on film dvds. I don't plan on burning movies, I much prefer to get a copy that's pristine and is not pixellated in important scenes. I also am I big fan of extra featurettes and such found only on factory cds.

I hope everyone has a good week, I will. Mike will be here about 3 am and will be here until Friday. Yippee!

Oct 2, 2007 - Update on last post today

I got into my ftp for here and heart-stricken.net! Wo0t! I have all my sites back on my new pc and I can edit & create to my heart's content. I am positively giddy. Mike will here Thursday and Friday...I'm going to see Tori Amos live on Nov. 1st in Cleveland with Emma...yup, I'm giddy.

Oct 2, 2007 - Oy vey to the tenth power

Oh my. My hard drive is fried, they couldn't retrieve ANYTHING from it. I was devastated as my D: drive stopped working long ago so I have no back up files of my 40 sites, music, pics, scripts, everything!

Well, Mike bought me a new pc and flat monitor Friday (bless his heart so much) but it has Vista on it and it's going to take days if not weeks to get my sites and files and programs back on this new hard drive. I have had a very emotional week; up, down, up, down and now I have all this work to do. Eep. But thank goodness I have a loving, kind and generous bf who had the money to get me a new pc right away. I still feel blessed but I'm just on overload right now.

I finally got into my ftp using CuteFTP (thanks Kat!) and downloaded all my sites and graphics on this server. Now I just have to do the same thing with heart-stricken.net and all will be fine. On Thurday, I'm getting some cds and saving every site and graphic on them. I am not going through this again. I actually started crying in the Cyber Geek store when the tech told me he couldn't retrieve anything from my hard drive. I was devastated. But Saturday Mike said "Let's go shopping." So we did. I had no clue he was going to buy me another pc. I was speechless gaping at him in the store like an idiot because I was just so stunned. Oh I feel better already. And I will love Michael until the day I die. My Beloved rocks! <3
